NEW PHSS TRAINING COURSES
The PHSS introduced a range of new training courses in 2005. These "Hands-On" Courses are aimed at professionals involved in pharmaceutical development and manufacture and include both basic and advanced modules. The Courses combine principle and theory with practical guidance and case studies.
Titles of new Courses held to date are:
Contamination Control and Monitoring of Isolators
Risk Assessment in GMP - Making it work
Understanding Cleanrooms
Sterilization Basics
Aseptic Processing
Advanced Steam Sterilisation
Cleanroom Contamination Control and monitoring
Pharmaceutical Water
Effective Investigations and Corrective Actions
We are now in the process of adding more Courses and wish to give Society Members the opportunity to be involved in this process.
For each new Course we are looking for a Leader to take on the responsibility for organizing the Course in conjunction with The PHSS. This would include compilation of the Course Programme and handouts, and delivery of the Course by oral and practical presentations. The majority of the Courses are 1-day events for which a fee will be paid.
Should you wish to be involved in this exercise please contact the PHSS Office. Details of the Courses, including dates and venues, are continually being updated.
